When using induction cooking zones, you may hear noises coming from the cookware.
The following noises may occur, depending on the type and shape of the cookware base:
- On the higher power levels, it might buzz. This buzzing will decrease or cease altogether when the power level is reduced.
- Cookware with bases made of different materials (e.g. sandwich bases) may produce a crackling noise.
- Whistling might occur if linked cooking zones are being used at the same time, and the pans also have bases made of layers of different materials (e.g. sandwich base).
- The electronics may produce a clicking sound, especially at lower power levels.
To increase the life of the electronic module, the appliance features a cooling fan. When the appliance is being used intensively, the cooling fan switches on and causes a humming noise. The cooling fan may continue to run after the appliance has been switched off.
